Love, Roses, and Stick Ups Page 4

  "Y'all ready?" Pepper asked.

Everybody nodded their heads and they made their way inside. Pepper immediately saw Nay-Nay at the bar throwing back drinks. When Pepper found out that Macy would be at the club, she called and made arrangements to be seated in VIP alongside Macy. It cost a pretty penny but they got in.

The Cartel walked over to their small section and ordered a bottle of Peach Ciroc. Macy hadn't gotten there yet which was good because Pepper didn't want him to get suspicious of anything. The girls listened to music and threw back shots all night but were still on high alert. Macy didn't show to the club until 1 o'clock a.m. And his Goons were surrounding him. Macy and his crews VIP section was right next to the Cartels. When Macy got settled into his seat, Pepper gave Nay-Nay the signal to go in for the kill. Just then the DJ turned on That Ludacris ' Go low ' and Nay-Nay dropped it all the way to the floor. She was twirling her hips and dancing smoothly to the beat. To not make it so noticeable that the Cartel was watching her and Macy's reaction, Pepper told the girls to go out on the dance floor and dance. While on the dance floor Pepper kept a close eye on Nay-Nay. She knew the plan was going to be successful when she saw Macy looking at Nay-Nay while whispering something in one of his goon’s ears. Pepper hadn't noticed the guy sitting next to Macy until now. Just like Macy, he was sexy, if not more than Macy which really wasn't possible because although Pepper couldn't admit it at the time she first saw Macy; she actually thought he was sexy too.

"Too bad I got to dead his ass." Pepper thought to herself. She was so focused on the Goon Macy was sitting with that she hadn't noticed Macy invited Nay-Nay into their VIP until Mo'esha shook her shoulder.

"Bitch, you hear me talking to you! She's in!" Mo'esha yelled over the loud music.

Pepper snapped out of the day dream she was in. "Wha.... What? You said she in?" Pepper looked from Mo'esha to The VIP section where she saw Nay-Nay sitting and drinking with Macy and the goon he was sitting with. Pepper grabbed Mo'esha's shoulder.

"You see that nigga he's with?" She asked. Mo'esha shrugged. "Yeah, what about him?"

“You see how fine that nigga is?" Pepper said Smiling. The liquor was definitely talking for her. Mo'esha had never heard Of Pepper being interested in any man let alone say a nigga was Sexy. But she had to admit the nigga Macy was with was fine and looked better than Macy.

  Mo'esha chuckled.

"Bitch, you crazy. But aye, can we get up out of here? She in there so we can leave now."

  Pepper agreed.

They found Si-Si and China over at the bar and told them they were leaving now that Nay-Nay was in there. When they got to the car and Mo'esha pulled out of the lot, Pepper said,

"Now all we gotta do is wait."

  THE CARTEL

"He gave you his number, right?" China asked, pulling up a seat at the fire pit in Pepper's back yard. It was January 2, 2012 so it was cold as shit.

"Yeah. He told me to hit him up ‘cuz he wanted to get to know me." Nay-Nay told them.

"Well, you definitely go be hitting that nigga up, today," Pepper said, taking a sip of her Hot chocolate. "And who was that nigga he was sitting with?" Pepper asked.

"He said his Name was Dame. I think he Macy's right-hand. "

Pepper nodded her head. She wanted to get to know Dame, but knew she would have to wait until they deaded Macy. Pepper never had a boyfriend before or even a nigga she was interested in. She was too busy trying to stay sane in her miserable life while she was a child and when she got older The Cartel had become her life. It was at that moment that she remembered she was still a virgin at the age of twenty-three.

"Aye, why you keep asking about him, Pepper? You interested in him or something?" Mo'esha asked, staring at Pepper.

"Bitch, and if I was?" Pepper snapped.

"Don't get all sassy with me, Pepper. I'm just asking. You can't be interested in that nigga while we after his right-hand because we might just have to dead that nigga too!" Mo'esha said.

"Yo, whatever. I'm not interested in him I just think the nigga cute. "

"Aren't you still a virgin, Pepper? I mean, I never seen you involved with any man before." Si-Si asked. Pepper rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, I'm still a virgin. So what?"

"So nothing. I was just asking. That's good though. I wish I was still a virgin." Si-Si admitted.

Mo'esha scoffed. "Well, bitch you're not one so get over it. Anyways, When we calling this Macy nigga? I'm ready for some action to start."

"We'll call him around 12 noon." Pepper glanced at her watch. It was only 9am.

  ***

When noon rolled around the girls sat in Pepper's great room in a circle while Nay-Nay dialed Macy's number. He answered on the 3rd ring.

"Yo," in said into the phone.

Not only did he look good, but his voice sounded even better. It was Not too deep and not too feminine, it was just right.

"Hi, um, Macy. It's Mya. Remember me from last night at the club?" Nay-Nay put on her sweetest voice. She had told Macy that her name was Mya. It was a dramatic pause on the other line as if he was trying to remember her.

"Yeah, I remember you, shorty. What's up?" he finally said.

"That's why I was calling you. I was really feeling you last night and I thought we could maybe hang out today," Nay-Nay looked at Pepper who was listening intently.

"Yeah, I was feeling you too. But look, I ain't going to be available until some late shit, I got shit to do. Maybe we can do a late dinner," Macy paused, awaiting Nay-Nay's response.

"Umm, Yeah, that sounds cool. Where are we going so I'll know where to meet you?"

"Meet me? Nah, shorty. You're not meeting me anywhere. I'm picking you up. You tell me where to pick you up."

Now it was Nay-Nay's turn to pause. She quickly looked at Pepper to tell her what she should do. Panic came over Nay-Nay. She knew if she didn't speak fast he would know she was up to something so she quickly blurted out Pepper’s address.

Pepper jumped to her feet and so did Mo'esha. Nay-Nay knew she had just fucked up.

"Aight, Shorty. I'll pick you up later around 10." Macy hung up.

As soon as Nay-Nay Ended the call Pepper grabbed Nay-Nay tightly by her shirt and yanked her off the floor.

"Bitch, are you out of your fucking Mind! Why the fuck would you give that nigga my address! What the fuck!" Pepper spat with venom. She couldn't believe Nay-Nay could be so stupid.

"I told you she was a stupid ass hoe, Pepper." Mo'esha said surprisingly calm. Mo'esha didn't feel the need to get hype because Pepper was on it. Plus, Mo'esha was beyond fed up with Nay-Nay and wanted to rock her.

"I'm sorry, Pepper! I panicked! If I would've hesitated he would've known I was full of shit. You know how them dope niggas be paranoid." Nay-Nay was scared Shit-less. She feared Pepper because she knew Pepper had a violent temper but she wasn't as loud with it like Mo'esha.

"Why the fuck? You just ain't give him your address?" Mo'esha snapped.

Si-Si raised her hand like she was in school. "Um, because we live together. That's why."

Pepper let her grip go on Nay-Nay's shirt. She knew she could handle herself if somehow Macy found out they were out to Dead him and he came to her crib. but she also knew if Nay-Nay played her part they wouldn't have to worry about him finding out. Pepper looked at Nay-Nay dead in her eyes and said, "You better play the hell out of your role to get close to that nigga, cause if you don't, and he find out we out to get him and the nigga come to my crib gunning for me, I'll be sure to Personally put a bullet through your head, you got that?"

Nay-Nay swallowed the huge Baseball size lump that formed in her throat and nodded her head signaling that she understood.

Pepper walked away upstairs and left the rest of the girls in the great room.

Just like the club, the girls Helped Nay-Nay get dressed for her date. Nay-Nay was happy to see that Pepper no longer seemed angry with her, but truth was, Nay-Nay was f
uming. She was tired of how Mo'esha and Pepper continuously attacked her. She thought on numerous occasions on leaving The Cartel but she knew she couldn't do it alone. She knew people out there probably would know who she was and gun for her. The La'Bella Cartel was her Protection and she needed them.

When 10 o'clock rolled around, Macy called Nay-Nay to let her know he was at the front gate. Pepper still wasn't sure of what to think about him knowing where she lived but he didn't even know what any of them looked like. She also thought about just killing him outside of her home but that would've been risky and Stupid so she decided to just go through with the plan.

"You ready?" Pepper asked, putting on the finishing touches of make-up on Nay-Nay's face.

  Nay-Nay nodded her head.

"Make sure you try to go to that nigga crib. Shid, fuck him if need be. We ain't got all the time in the world to be trying to dead this nigga. While you up in his house late at night, you could call us to come up there and dead him." Pepper told her.

Pepper took one last look at Nay-Nay. "You look pretty."

  "Thanks." Nay-Nay responded dryly.

Nay-Nay walked outside to the gate to see Macy was three Escalades deep like he was a God or something. She knew Macy would be hard to get to if not impossible. "This Nigga would kill us before we could ever get to him." Nay-Nay thought to herself. And she was right.

  MACY

"You looking good, shorty," Macy Said as his driver drove them across the river to Newport Kentucky. Although Macy Didn't know Nay-Nay, he knew he would be feeling her and possibly make her his main bitch since he wasn't fucking with no other bitches at the moment. He needed him a chick and since Nay-Nay was the first to come along and she was sexy he figured she was it.

Nay-Nay Giggled. "Thanks. You too." She thought she would be nervous around Macy but to her surprise, she wasn't. They had met yesterday and talked all night at the strip club. She strangely felt comfortable around him. When they got to Newport, The driver pulled up at a fancy restaurant called ' Apples '. Nay-Nay had heard of the restaurant before but never had time to actually go there. She heard a lot of the Cincinnati Bengals ate there after a game and if you were lucky you would see one there randomly.

The escalade came to a stop and the driver opened the door.

When Nay-Nay exited the car, about 20 of Macy's goons surrounded them as they walked into the restaurant. People were staring trying to see who they were. When they entered the restaurant, they were quickly seated. It was like the waiter was expecting them. They sat at their table and Nay-Nay glanced around the huge room. Goons were also seated Across from them and behind them.

"Damn, this nigga the real deal." Nay-Nay thought to herself. It was at that moment that she knew murking Macy would be difficult.

"So, Ms. Mya, what you do for a living? How you living up in that phat ass crib?" A curious Macy wanted to know.

He thought maybe she was one of those Rich ass spoiled Suburb girls. She had the look of one. She was tall and slender, fair-skinned with long silky hair. To Macy she didn't look like a Hood-Rat at all and that's what he liked.

"My parents are Doctors," she lied.

What else was she going to tell him? That she was a part of The La'Bella Cartel and they deaded niggas like him for money?

"Word? Yeah you look like one of them prissy rich ass chicks." Macy looking at the menu.

Nay-Nay chuckled. "Oh, really? Is that a bad thing?

Or do you prefer a ghetto girl?" Nay-Nay playfully rolled her eyes.

Macy chuckled as well. "Nah, shorty. I like bitches with class, who carries herself well, like a lady." He answered honestly.

"Wow, so you call them Bitches, huh?"

"Yeah, when I'm speaking about women in general." Nay-Nay smurked. She already liked Macy's style. When the waiter came back, They both ordered their food and sent the waiter on her way.

"So, tell me about you shorty. Where you come from? You look like some exotic shit." Macy's piercing green hazel eyes were locked on Nay-Nay awaiting her response.

Nay-Nay had to quickly think of a story. She was always quick with coming up with things.

"Well," she began, smirking. "I was born in Cuba. My parents came to the states when I was 3 years old. At first, we did live in the hood but my parents were determined to make a better life for us so they enrolled in school and did their thing to become doctors. It's what they've always wanted to be," Nay-Nay said, somewhat lying.

It was true that she did come from Cuba when she was 3 and they did live in the ghetto, but they never made it out. When Nay-Nay turned 18, and she was already running with the Cartel, her parents moved back to Cuba and she hadn't spoken to them in 5 years. She didn't even know if they were still alive. Macy nodded his head.

"So, Are you going to tell me about you and what it is that you do?" Nay-Nay said, smiling at Macy.

She already knew he was a dope-boy. The Cartel had already done their research on him. Nay-Nay didn't care either way though if he lied or not. She liked Dope-Boys and their lifestyles. She always wanted to be a Dope-Boys Wifey and be living up in a phat crib with her Man. She knew she shouldn't be thinking about it, but she wanted to see herself living nice with Macy.

Macy formed a serious expression on his face. "You already know what I do, shorty. Don't act dumb." Nay-Nay stopped smiling and instantly regretted asking a dumb question thinking playing dumb would be cute in his eyes.

An Awkward silence came over them. Nay-Nay didn't know if she had screwed up on getting him to start feeling her or not. The waiter broke the silence when she returned with their food.

For the most part, they ate in silence. Nay-Nay couldn't wait to get out of the resturant. She knew she had screwed up once again and that she would definitely hear from Pepper and Mo'esha. It was at that moment that she knew she had to fix it to get them back talking and getting to know each other.

"So, what are you going to be doing when you drop me back off at home?" Nay-Nay asked.

"Oh, you want me to drop you off at home? You don't wanna stay with me tonight? I don't bite." He said smiling that pretty smile he had.

Although he was a killer and dangerous, he had a charming way about him.

Nay-Nay was caught off guard. She didn't expect for him to want her to stay the night with him so quickly. Maybe it was a set up to try to see if she was easy or not. Although she did want to stay the night with Him she couldn't come off as being easy because he might not talk to her again after they slept together and that would ruin her getting close to him. She figured there would be other Times for them to stay the night together.

"What kind of girl do you think I am? I don't just be going home with Strangers." Nay-Nay said playfully. Macy Laughed. "Oh, yeah? Ok. I respect that shorty. That's good."

Nay-Nay was glad that she decided not to go home with him. She was certain she would be hearing from him again, soon.

When he dropped her back off at Pepper house, the girls were all over her questioning her about what happened.

"So, tell us what happened!" China Eagerly said. Pepper had cooked so all the girls were in the kitchen sitting around the Island Counter in the center of the room.

"Nothing to say really. I mean he cool. I'll tell y'all this though, getting to him won't be easy. When we got to the restaurant, about 30 goons came in with us surrounding us even while we were eating." Nay-Nay looked around to see the girls expressions.

Mo'esha scoffed. "Them niggas can get Got too. It won't be that hard getting to that nigga. They ain't start making Machine guns when they made theirs." Nay-Nay ignored Mo'esha comment. Mo'esha was too hot-headed to talk to.

"Yeah, I saw when he came to pick you up he had like 3 Cars with him!" Si-Si exclaimed.

"That nigga think he the president or something!" Mo'esha added, laughing.

Nay-Nay decided to leave out the part about her really liking Macy and thinking he was an alright guy and that she no longer was trying to set him up but that
she was actually trying to get to know him for herself. She had already told herself that she would stall the Cartel by telling them how hard it would be to dead him and that she couldn't find the right time to tell them to make a move. She didn't know how long she could put them off, but she was going to try for as long as she could.

  MACY

Macy strolled through the call block about to be seated to talk to his Former Boss and Friend AJ who was arrested and sentenced 25 years to life a year ago on murder charges. Before getting locked up, AJ was that nigga and Macy worked for him on his Hit squad murking niggas. Every month Macy made it his Duty to go see his friend and see how he was holding up. He knew AJ was a soulja and that he had the inside locked down like he had it on the streets.

Macy took his seat and waited for AJ to be escorted in. No sooner than Macy took his seat did AJ walk into the room. AJ looked at his young Goon and was proud of him for taking over for him and gettin' money like old times. It pained him that he couldn't be out on the streets but he had long ago made peace with his Destiny and that was to remain behind bars for the next 25 years of his life.

When AJ picked up the telephone so did Macy. Macy was anxious to tell his Former boss what's been up on the streets.

"Yo, Mace, what's been up?" AJ said into the phone. He was happy that Macy didn't abandon him in prison like everyone else did. Even though he had things on lock in prison and was making money, it was always nice to have somebody on the outside.

"What's good, nigga? How you holding up in this mufucka?" Macy Asked looking at his friend.

"Shid, you know. Same shit. Lifting weights, slanging my shit getting to this money like I was doing on the outside," AJ told him.
